There isn’t a Snyder cut yet. That’s part of this article, they’re working on making the Snyder cut, because previously it was in the Workprint stage with reshoots and at least tens of millions of dollars of post-production work between it and a releasable state.

Um....no, he never once said it was done. He said there was a lot of footage out there but the effects weren’t finished and some scenes were never shot. He’s been pretty consistent with those claims.

I actually kind of suspect it has to do with him being some weirdo Randian Libertarian sort. That tends to attract a very certain type of ride or die types of fans.

I like how the image announcing Snyder’s version has all the colour sucked out of it. Seems apt.

Look, some people like his movies, so I guess that it’s nice for them that they’ll have this thing if it makes them happy. But none of Snyder’s films are particularly good. He’s very good at some technical aspects of film making, but he’s not good at telling a compelling story. Even his better movies are dragged down…

It would have been an amazing super hero film in like 1996.

Snyder cut, huh? So it probably cuts out all of the humor and includes an hour of Superman brooding about his resurrection and wondering if he should bother to save the world?

Hilariously it’ll be even worse than what we got.

But Abrams didn’t want to move on from the past and the movie suffered greatly for it.

God, I wish they had just let Kylo be the villain and gave Finn an arc that let him use his past to inspire a revolt. Hell, they could have even left his Force Sensitivity in and let him end the movie as Rey’s first apprentice.

I don’t think I have ever seen a more accurate display of anything that captures the intelligence, articulation, ability to manage a situation and in particular the character of a public figure than the perfect video questioning the president and his policies at the end of the post. I know lots of people didn’t like the last jedi and this is the only time I felt even a slight bit of empathy for them.

After episode 3 I concluded that this show is, at best, mediocre sci-fi that is only succeeding, and that I’m only watching, because it’s called Star Trek. It’s fun (at times, minus everything to do with Narek and Soji) but nothing more.

I just don’t buy how pissed off everyone is at Picard for over-promising, and then being let down by a giant bureaucracy. Years have passed, but no one has moved on? And they all blame him, specifically?

Tell that to all the grown men who are still crying actual tears about Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi.
