It’s the probability of Jorah even getting all the way over to Dany juuuust in the nick of time. Or Brienne and Sam getting piled on by dead men yet emerging unscathed each time. One of the initial appeals of the show was that it subverted fantasy hero tropes but now it’s drenched in them.

I was nervous as hell throughout the episode until about halfway through when they started showing named characters single-handedly holding off hordes of dead, then it became clear that the spectacle of it all was just a cover for what was ultimately a very safe, Hollywood-like episode. The only surprises were Arya

I actually think the third shocker hasn’t happened yet.

Yeah, I’m really hoping that they surprise us and don’t go down that route.

Then Jaime has to kill Zombie-Cersei.

Why is the fault only with Rian, though? Abrams was the one who created the character and made him an super-old alien (I agree that he should have been younger) with no hint as to what his backstory is. Honestly, I don’t blame Rian for opting not to focus on a supporting character who was clearly put there to be a

And Ed Sheeran’s face was mutilated off-screen!

That’s not how the Force works!

He also bashed in his cousin’s head, forced himself on Cersei at their son’s wake, and threatened to catapult Edmure Tully’s baby into a castle wall.

That’s also a solid enough explanation for why she doesn’t even wear battle armor.

“And none of the previous missions beyond the wall, including the original ranging party with Commander Mormont, involved horses.”

In season 2 they had an alchemist who was actively creating new supplies of wildfire, so perhaps he’s still around.

Cersei should have been laying the blame on Tyrion and “the Mad King’s daughter” but the show likes to skip over details now so they can get to the big, crowd-pleasing moments.

He’s still got Valkyrie and Korg, plus Lady Sif (when she gets un-dusted). And of course they could always add new characters or have Rabbit and Tree crossover for a movie.

I don’t think future Thor projects have been ruled out. Both Hemsworth and Taika have expressed interest in continuing the character.

.

I’m referring to him in the context of Season 4, which is the subject of the article.

I don’t even think he looks scary, honestly. He’s kinda baby-faced and I wish they’d done some makeup work on him to give him a more weathered and monstrous appearance.

Man, 2017 was stellar for comic book movies.

Taika did such a great job of reinvigorating Thor that part of me wishes he could go back and remake the first two movies, especially Dark World.
