I’d prefer to see some totally original SW movies, but Lando is one of the few characters that I’d care to see in a spinoff. The 2015 Lando comic is fantastic and every fan should give it a read.

I would gladly trade Todrick for Alyssa - he seems like a terrible coach who tries to motivate the queens with fear.

Not really. The prequels, Clone Wars, and even the Legends material all had Force-using characters who were a variety of genders and species whose parentage wasn’t important.

Guess I’ll be the contrarian in the comments by saying that I loved The Last Jedi and I’m baffled at the visceral reactions it has elicited.

The Phasma comic book series is worth checking out. She basically chases down a guy who knows that she shut down Starkiller’s shields, so this scene syncs up pretty well with that. 

Thrawn is alive. The Bendu had a vision of his “defeat,” not death. They also made sure to cut to a very much alive Thrawn several times during that scene, plus Thrawn’s “whatever happens next, happens to both of us.”
