Excellent list - we carried all of the above on our two-week trip last year.

My favorite RPG, all faults included. Chrono Trigger and FFVI follow up very closely.

If you’re looking to stay somewhere cheap, I’d reccomend Sakura Hostel in Asakusa. They have a multilingual staff, they do events, and best of all the hostel is located basically next door to Sensouji Temple and Kaminarimon (the famous Toori with giant red lantern).
