I mean, Bethesda is fairly unique among romance dialog in that fallout 4 is the first game that actually had characters with enough player relationship to romance, despite making rpgs for 20 years now.

To be fair, the point of an early access game is to _point out_ the bugs and issues. Not just soak in them and say it’s part of the charm (as you mention, this isn’t a Bethesda game).

Trespasser is honestly the first DLC that I can say is better for not being in the base game. Obviously as a purchaser I’d take it included the base game purchase, but waiting a time before you could find out what the deal with Solas was made it much more impactful.
