I’m not sorry for anything that I have ever done.

If you have a monoploy, does it matter if someone signed a contract to get there?

What we found out-of-bounds was the naming of specific developers as targets for public criticism. It’s unfair and extremely traumatizing to single out people in this way

Epic isn’t significantly less convenient than Steam, though. It’s the same as any launcher, of which we have several already. One more isn’t noteworthy.

That simply isn’t true.

I can pay you more for your games” is merit.  The competition isn’t for purchasers, it’s for sellers.

That’s one hell of a reach.

EA allowed them 7 years, and they were evidently able to get a B-level game done in 18 months. With that in mind, the real issue is probably the fact that 5 years were wasted due to subpar leadership leaving them with only 18 months in which to work through the tech issues to get a game at least shipable.

Which would be a fine concern 3 games ago.

I mean... No.

Amen.

Asking people to be nicer to each other and engage with respect and dignity is not politics, it’s human decency.

I’ve usually seen role as a stand-in for “position” or “job” in my experience with corporate-lingo.

This is a difficult day. The changes we’re making today will impact about 350 roles in our 9,000-person company

Definitely don’t have to like it _or_ respect it.

Given that everything in the game occurs by player choice, there are plenty of ways “you” could choose your clan later, but “your character” does not.

Yeah, he’s spot on with the trope. Tolkien was absolutely doing absolutely what he said.

I’ve always wondered if it is bad with other companies or is it just Bioware that really drew out that absurd level of entitlement and forcefullness.

Best take right here.

I assumed that was sarcasm.
