That’s not really a distinction. Of course you can make the path “clear” - that’s a given. It’s just a question of how much logistical resources that takes.

Not the kind that requires you to hire people.
I fail to see the contradiction you seem to be concerned about. They said it was too hard. I’m explaining *why* it probably would be too hard.
Not really.
No, it wouldn’t have been abandonment. But it would’ve been a business move, and there are logistical concerns about that. Logistical concerns that, quite frankly, Blizzard has no reason to deal with other than to keep non-customers happy.
A fair point.
It isnt weird when “only black people and women couldnt pick their race” and that seems pretty much like bait. It is weird the game didnt give any chance of customization period.

See, I looked at all those characters and immediately thought “Asian”.
No... She’s almost certainly Japanese. And I say this as someone who *has* seen the show.
The character is definitely Japanese, nationally.
Most Nintendo characters are 2D - they don’t grow as characters, so they can’t really overstay their welcome. Their narative is always, in truth, one game long.
Interesting difference, but not surprising.
Because “a hyper-navel-gazing Brit-super-arty white dude who has been wealthy and idolized this long” is probably going to write a different comic than a “a hyper-navel-gazing Brit-super-arty black dude who has been wealthy and idolized this long” or “a hyper-navel-gazing Brit-super-arty white woman who has been…
Nerfs are veeeeery expensive...
Quite frankly, what people who aren’t the developers want doesn’t really matter as long as A. people are still playing, and B. people are getting what they paid for.
