I don't think that embodying the negative behavior does anything to change it, personally. I am essentially doing what you are describing- I am recognizing that it is done far too often in society, as personified above.

Because boiling people's lot in life down to their gender, race, and sexuality is a constructive way to view the world and everyone in it.

Trolling as journalism or blogging or... whatever you want to call it, I call it weak.

Saw that too, but couldn't tell what game it was from the pic... just wanted to make sure my eyes weren't THAT bad.

Are my eyes going, or is the 360 absent from that otherwise amazing setup?

Yeah, and considering that the Metro style interface in the most recent dashboard update to the 360 has quickly become the worst thing about XBL, I'm skeptical about Windows 8, period.

Until I read this story, I was under the impression that GFWL was no longer a thing. I though MS had pulled the plug on it years ago. Ditto that for Clippy.

Treyarch definitely gets less credit than they deserve in their work.

It doesn't matter as much as it perhaps should, I'll give you that. I've never felt more satisfied with my character's increased abilities through leveling than I did my first run through Morrowind.

I'd even settle for a remake of Morrowwind on current tech. Were it an expansion to Skyrim, I'd pay full price for it in a heartbeat. Optional co-op would be great too. Think if you could invite a friend into your game as a companion character? The co op player gets to level up a whole second character which then

First it was The Old Republic- I said if anything is going to get me into playing MMOs, it's gonna be that. Now it's The Elder Scrolls turn to turn me into an MMO gamer and I'm starting to think that it will never happen.

Level cap in 120 hours? I've put that much time into Skyrim and still haven't hit the level cap!

By which we mean we want to change it to look like everything else that's already flooded this oversaturated market.

First thing I thought too. This doesn't look like TES at all. This looks like a generic MMO. Too bad. I would have loved a 1st person MMO set in Tamriel.

I'm gonna have to backpedal here. I think you are going to be right. Despite my lack of interest, Treyarch proved they weren't just the 'other' CoD team with Black Ops, and they do sound genuinely interested in making meaningful advances to the game, particularly in the campaign. They could easily just crap out

You make a lot of good points, honestly. I was responding to a bunch of negative comments in this and other posts when I responded to you, so I'm sorry for the negative tone... you didn't deserve my ire. I think I took what you initially wrote out of it's intended context.

No, just better at censoring myself in real life than I am on the internet. Nothing above was written out of anger, but I see how it can read that way, which is bad on me. I just hate it when people try to bash you for having an honest opinion, so I respond in kind.

I'm being nitpicky, of course.

I can't help but be a jerk sometimes...

Different studio working on it. Bethesda founded a separate MMO team back in 2007 (See above), so it shouldn't affect the team known as Bethesda Game Studios at all.
