Nintendo doesn't just sell hardware. They profit off of software sales, and have two of the largest install bases in the markets they compete in (consoles and handhelds) to date.

Totally agreed, I wasn't trying to say it's a good thing. It's asinine- but the core of the problem is public trading, as you said, the finance industry. You can have the greatest year you've ever had in the history of your company and if you're down by 2% of that record the following year, you're suddenly in trouble.

Yeah, my cores are 32 bit, so when I got Win7, that's the version I upgraded to having been told that it's the only version compatible. Recently I've learned that even on my mac, 64 bit Win7 runs fine, and recognizes the ram. Can you confirm.

That might make sense, seeing as I have a 1GB ATI card. Always wondered why I only saw 2, I'd check for faulty ram, but it recognizes all five gigs on in OSX.
