We are all, of course, entitled to our reactions. If I had family and heritage in a place that is widely demonized politically and frequently treated in a disparaging way in our media, I'd get sick of it's overuse as the defacto 'badguy' pretty quickly. But yeah, I'd wait and see before dismissing it entirely...…

Well, I can see how that would make our perspectives differ, though to be fair- I don't think any shooter has ever been set in Iran, or specifically declared Iranians as the opposing force... has it? This one isn't either.
