Felt like Alan Wake failed to live up to the hype surrounding it. Not just commercially, but as a game in general.

I guess it isn't a problem for Cubans, seeing as they can't get the game into the country, so maybe their government should just STFU, figure out a way to keep their people healthy, educated, and out of poverty, and THEN maybe start worrying about the mindless entertainment of their neighboring countries...

Manufacture, R&D, testing, marketing, the dev cost of the pack in game, profit for microsoft, profit for retailers... and God only knows what else... there's a lot more cost than just the BOM (bill of materials) to consider, which is all this source article is talking about.
