"...a senior EA executive said the game's poor reviews were somewhat predicted internally and suggested to Realtime Worlds"

@superhuffy: His speciality, as based on his collected works in the link in my above post, indicated that he has built a career managing asian subsidiaries of large western developers, which are, for the most part, asset farms.

@Solid2TheSnake: Because you have bills to pay and, if you haven't been paying attention lately, most studios are laying people off, not hiring... and sometimes people don't want to have to uproot their families to relocate to another studio, which is very normative in this industry...

@Adhominem: Sorry I keep replying to your posts in the negative, but:

@deuxhero: As made by cheap Chinese and Korean labor pools... that is the future of Lucasarts.

@piecesofwork: Dude, that is almost exactly what the price of gas is in Chicago right now... I seriously just filled up like an hour ago.

Yay!

@DTheRPGFan657289: AS a side note- I'd just love to see companion characters, even if you only have one at a time, behave more dynamically and affect your standing in the world. Give me a bunch of guys and gals like Fawkes from Fallout3, just give them their own narrative and make their standing in the world affect

@DTheRPGFan657289: I'm going to give Two Worlds 2 a shot, as on paper it sounds freaking awesome... it's just gotta maintain at least 30fps or I can'

@Sabithomega: Seriously, if ever there was an argument for not making console exclusive games, the Uncharted series is the personification.

@unfakingbelievable: There is a definite perception problem with the whole shooter/rpg hybridization in the series, certainly. It's far less a pure RPG than it is a shooter with inventory management and dialogue trees. I still loved the story it told.

Paul Meegan's credited career in videogames thusfar:

@Adhominem: Somehow I doubt that. Seeing as the original Force Unleashed hit 7 million units sold last February, and the original Uncharted is hovering around 1 million units sold with an extra year on the market.

Sooooo..... no more good Star Wars video games then, huh?

@unfakingbelievable: You sound like a spoiled gamer... and I should know. I sound that way too much of the time.

That's just awesome. Now just tell me how long before we get an ID Tech 5 powered Elder Scrolls game!

The who brothers?

@Q27: We clearly just have different tastes. I've preferred the wavebird over the official Gamecube controller from the get go.

At first I was very disappointed to learn that Irrational's long in development secret game project was yet another Bioshock game.
