@DARTH_TIGRIS: Especially when you look at how the 'casual' games business has boomed. Facebook, farmville, etc...

@DARTH_TIGRIS: Right, but I don't think Too Human didn't sell well specifically because of it's lack of ad support, I think there might have been some other reasons for it. Besides there have been TV commercial campaigns for both it and Alan Wake, and with the latter it's just too soon to tell. Though I blame RDR

@secretpizzaparty: I'm probably being overly critical- I do love Kotaku... just seems like there's been an uptick in tabloid-esque content that's light on the substance I've come to expect over the years, and it's a trend that worries me a bit more than it probably should.

@secretpizzaparty: Kotaku doesn't like to do that anymore it seems, unless they get Tim Rogers to let them repost something...

@Oshrilkal: I actually was unstarred by Crecente for this comment. Didn't think I was being inappropriate...

Oh goodie, another picture of a celebrity at a games convention... how fascinating.

OK- I'll pay $50 a year for Playstation Plus if it means I get a Kevin Butler motivational speech once a month as a membership perk...

Ok, I think I understand where you are coming from, and you are not wrong. However:

@EolirinX: I think you have some fundamental misunderstanding about the process of 3D animation. The computer creates interpolation automatically, but fixing that interpolation to work the way you actually want it to is vastly time consuming and tedious... and that's just the part where you are animating the model.

@gamerguy2002: 'your an ass', huh?Superb grammar, sir. Gold star.

@Revariance: oh I played it... For about three hours before I realized how awful the game was. That's not a troll either, I gave mgs 4 the benefit of the doubt and hated it even more. Probably the wrong post to be admitting that in...

@amazingmao: but still she needs her top unzipped to her waist? How positively enlightened.

@gamerguy2002: insightful, and well thought out and nuanced response.

Dude looks like a lady... or is it the other way around?

@Rohsiph: True, but I'm not convinced that gameplay is going to be innovative, fun, or worthwhile, and I'd rather have the art assets be up to snuff than see what appears to be a quick and dirty mash up of ported assets from old handheld games on my HD console.

@azerbo: What do they say? Bad marketing is better than no marketing?

@EolirinX: Alucard is in those shots there, and Symphony of the Night is from 1997.

@tokugawa: Yeah- when it happens to other game franchises it's called modding, and it's usually available for free.
