Mysterious Benedict Society was one of the most charming and well made shows of the last few years, and Willow wasn’t far behind. It’s a damn shame.
Pretty sure Brad Bird filmed Ghost Protocol and hence the Burj Khalifa sequence. McQuarrie has directed every MI after (and did some rewrites on Ghost Protocol).
Crystal Skull is pretty good and you should watch it. Marion married some other guy and he raised Henry aka Mutt.
Has there been a repeated sketch all season up to now? SNL has gone a long way to jettisoning this trope.
Except Rowling is out there doubling and redoubling down on hateful stuff, and Pratt has never been anything other than a sweetheart. What has he said or done that’s wrong?
Dark World is not good, but it was far from a flop.
The reason this cut to the heart of the country is partly because of what Lineker represents. As a footballer he captained the national side at a time when, even if England weren’t winning, they were seen as putting in a ton of effort. The squad was full of character and Lineker was the steady hand - brave, generous…
God, Unfaithfully Yours is great isn’t it? Time for a rewatch.
They aren’t zombies in universe. But this is, to all intents and purposes, a zombie apocalypse story in the same way that I Am Legend is. Physical attacks, infections, isolated survivors, paranoia, the fall of society - all the hallmarks are there.
Not quite - it’s rigged as far as he’s immune from the consequences of failure (like all those with wealth are). He doesn’t pass each each challenge.
Blade 2 is much, much better than the first. More fun, better action, better design and direction.
Incredibly it is correct - the feel, the look, the sound of the show are taken straight from the games (which to be fair have some of the very best production design in all gaming). Stuff like how the infection works are minor mechanical elements and nothing to do with character or story or setting.
Which is far from the truth based on the two Lego Movies - Pratt is actually great in them, energetic and funny. While I’m sure there are voice actors who could have done the same, I’m convinced they couldn’t have done significantly better - and then we wouldn’t have got the ace self referential stuff in the second…
Lyle Lyle Crocodile (the movie) is not without charm - the cast are great - but it plays like a second rate version of Paddington where the day is won not by humility and understanding but by showing off.
I watched HotD on a 1080i broadcast via Sky in the UK, upscaled on my inexpensive 4K Samsung and it was perfect. I could see everything. This wasn’t the case with, say, the night dragon battle in GoT, which was not clear. It could be your TV, or the streaming quality, but I’m sure it wasn’t the show.
I like Skyfall, but it’s nowhere near as good as either Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace, or a good 12-14 of the previous movies.
Ronald McDonald?
80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, 20s - they said decades not years.
No-one said that, because the goats very much aren’t in every other scene.
