I never have a problem finding a game in the mode and loadout I prefer (16 player team deathmatch, ground pounder loadout).

I can't recommend Starhawk enough, it's my favorite multiplayer game in years. I really enjoy being able to defend or assault organically, and choosing different skill perks to enhance those roles. The perks serve almost as classes within the game, because the abilities they give you allow some really varied tactis.

Ha, nice.

Yeah, I was wondering whether I would've had to have bought the package instead of the game and then the expansion, individually.

I have ARMA 2 and Operation Arrowhead, but didn't buy Combined Operations (because I already owned the two games) . . . Will this mod work for me or am I out of luck because I was an early adopter?

Full Throttle is one of the few games I had as a kid that I held onto, the CD-ROM is in a box in my closet.

Starhawk ... It's fucking amazing. That is all.

Yeah, that bomb thing is crazy powerful — They need to either lessen the damage, or give you only one bombing run (right now you have 8 ammo, drop 4 bombs each time, and get two passes to attack, I think you should get one pass with just 4 ammo).

Haha, yeah, I think the Hawk power-ups, in general, are a little bit too powerful, especially early-game before teams have a chance to set up their defenses.

I played with you last night, totally by accident! You kept bombing my base from your hawk. I'll send a friend request later today.

Just want to say I am fucking LOVING Starhawk. The ability to build objects to help the team really strikes a chord with me, and now that I've gotten a good attack system I'm pretty lethal (step one: hit supply depot and watchtower for weapons; step two: jetpack; step three: pilot a hawk into battle, land in enemy

Oh long Johnson. Oooooh looooong Johnson.

Man, all I want to do is play right now, but I've been hit with a mandatory system update, a Starhawk patch/update, and now the actual Starhawk installation all in a row.

I've noticed that, too. It's like the reviewers that knocked Battlefield 3 because it's SP wasn't that great — Who gives a shit? Who on earth is buying BF3 for the SP?

It's because they don't have a mic boxed-in with the PS3. People, especially kids, don't want to spend extra money just on a mic, so the majority of players seem to be without one.

I agree, I think the SP, from what I've read, is intended as a tutorial for the MP. It'd be great if it was better, but I'm not planning on spending much time with SP anyways.

I'll hit you up, or send me a request — My PSN is Hellrok.

I can't wait to play when I get home. Hit me up on PSN if anyone wants to friend/play together, I'm a gamer in his 30s who actually likes strategizing and working with teammates in online games. My PSN ID is Hellrok.

I picked up a copy today on the strength of the IGN review (and because it looked awesome in the video review). I can't wait to get home and dive into it, the quasi RTS strategic elements look really cool. I just hope some other people on PSN actually use headsets, voice chat strategery is usually a barren wasteland.

You suck at grammar.
