Hurricane Sandy: please don’t try playing that stupid game with me. Claims that hurricane Sandy was “caused by” or “enhanced by” or “consistent with” global warming were all over the media at the time and still routinely surface to the present day.

“Er. No, s/he’s not. S/he explained it clearly [blah]”
What a classic alarmist reply. You know that I’m right about hurricane Sandy but instead hint that it may be possible to attribute it to global warming at some point. Why don’t you guys realise that never admitting you’re wrong makes you look untrustworthy?
You’re talking total BS. weather systems are driven by temperature gradients, not the “net thermal energy”. You’re using the term “energy” like “crystal energy” or “healing energy”.
The generalised temperature of the whole planet is irrelvant to any individual place also. Do you decide to wear a coat or not based on the global average temperature?
Niether does the temperature in just one (or two) months as ‘measured’ by one heavily-adjusted dataset.
What is the purpose of showing a graphic about “science denial”? It proves nothing. Perhaps you should look again at the article I’m commenting on: one month is used as an example - perhaps you’re accusing the author of misrepresentation? probably not though, as alarmists never dispute anything that advances their…
You’re arguing that temperature differentials are reducing but that will somehow lead to more extreme temperature variations. Please try and explain.
According to some heavily-adjusted datasets, not according to the satellite data. In other words, it’s a meaningless cherry-pick. Also, it’s not just two data points, there’s been unusually cold weather in many places.
Not likely in the UK. Trees are already shedding their leaves, something I’ve never seen before in the first week of August.
Climate change alarmists also frequently misrepresent climate change by referring to the weather in one location - example: Hurricane Sandy.
Even though global warming is supposed to reduce the temperature differential between the poles and the equator, between winter and summer and between night and day.
It’s been the coldest summer in 30 years here in the UK also - Adelaide and the UK aren’t exactly near each other.
Not according to the satellite data. In any case, how much of this “record” is down to adjustments?
