How many times has a gun being wielded by a private citizen prevented a gun death? And how many times has a gun being wielded by a private citizen caused death? I’m sure you know which scenario has the highest number associated with it.

No, of course I don’t think that. But I know that if a device designed to efficiently kill people hadn’t been readily available that my friend and his son would still be alive, and his son might be getting the help he needs.
