Eh... their other option would be to not sell their products to people living in China, which would be an extremely poor business decision and cause a shareholder revolt. If you don’t live in China, this doesn’t affect you in any way.

So... you’re judging all police officers based on the actions of a few? Is that correct?
The fact that you feel the need to insult me and call me names when I’m just trying to have a discussion with you is very interesting. Perhaps your troubles with the police have less to do with the color of your skin and more to do with your attitude and the way you speak to people you disagree with.
Ha! Did you actually read the article you linked? If you take population into account (as you did with cars vs. police):
“A 2004 National Crime Victimization Survey report which analyzed carjacking over 10 years found that carjacking victims identified 56% of offenders as black, 21% as white, and 16% as Native American or Asian.”
Feel free to back up your claims with some data at any point
Nothing ruins a good argument like facts...
Way to cherry pick. Someone who chooses to use drugs has no effect on my life or that of my family. On the other hand:
Unfortunately police are trained to target minorities because a vast majority of crime is committed by minorities. It’s a terrible fact, but a fact nonetheless.
Yup. Way more cars than police officers, but there are about three quarters of a million police officers in the US, so while “thousands” is technically accurate, “hundreds of thousands” would be a better way to phrase it.
Would you say that 90 people per day being killed by cars is an epidemic? What are you doing to stop all the death?
Yup. There are bad cops out there. I’m still not seeing anything that says “don’t call 911 if you’re a minority because you might get shot”. For every person that is harassed on a weekly basis there are millions that are not.
I’ll say it again, it’s an issue that needs to be addressed. Period. But an epidemic it is not. No one is stopped, and then brutalized or harassed “almost every day”. Again, by exaggerating the size of the issue you are losing credibility. Who are these people that have each been pulled over by police 300 times a…
I’m well aware of the facts. While there is no official database on officer involved shootings, most sources agree that around 1200 people were killed by police in the US in 2015, so a little over 3 per day. Of those, roughly 300 were black, which works out to less than one per day across the entire country. Of those,…
Lots of things exist. But “don’t call 911 if you’re a minority” is terrible advice and based only on your anecdotal experiences. Don’t give bad advice.
While the shooting of unarmed people (specifically people of color) by police officers is a problem that needs to be addressed, comments like yours make it sound like an epidemic when it is in fact a very rare occurrence.
Pretty sure 911 is an exception to that law
Just stop
People who live to create friction and stir the pot. Outside agitators who would be lost if there wasn’t something to complain about.
Stop trying to stir the pot and create friction. You people are the biggest part of the problem
