I'd basically become a slow moving chicane at that point and try to stay as far over as possible.

Ugh. That ugly 4-spoke wheel just screams 90's giant airbags to me. Needs a better wheel.

we should all be so lucky in our retirement...

I prefer the throwing stars myself. My car came with an extra set of turbine wheels but I'd never run them instead of the throwing stars

yup. That'd be me. Mint 1990 German E34 M5. $9500.

HEYYYY!!!!

I'd have the C4S with a manual at #1. Living where I do, it's a perfect year-round DD as long as you have some snow tires.

Bro, do you even FuelShark?

that was amazing. Thank you!

Really? I had one as a rental a few weeks back and I loved it. Even though it was an auto, poverty-spec. Felt pretty fast to me too, considering it only has like 98 HP or something. Loved the compact size and airy interior. Plus it only weighs like 2300 lbs and it feels like it.

DItto. Dark blue 1988 Taurus was my first car. I was happy with it at the time. And it's still a good looking, contemporary-styled car today. As opposed to almost every other American sedan from the 1980's.

Word. I drove the Fiesta ST first and found it way more fun to drive, despite the lower power. Didn't have the enormous turning radius either.

Lol. Yup, I've DD'd a manual for the past 10 years but my last 2 cars (WRX & 335xi) have both had the hill start assist where it holds the brake for a second to stop you from rolling back. Since I bought my M5 two weeks ago, I've had to get used to not being lazy and realizing that I'll roll if I'm not quick with my

Awesome choice! Love The Meters!

BMW Classic

yeah I've always loved those so much too but owning one always scared me off. Le Mans blue with caramel interior is what id go with. Still think the E34 & E39 are the two best looking M5s of all time.

I agree to some extent, although in this case the fact that its a manual makes it a better choice than an SMG-equipped car. I tend to look at this series of articles more like a "hey look at what you COULD buy for the price of a new corolla" type of thing.

this looks pretty cool. Maybe not my personal cup of tea but it looks really well done for being drawn on with markers. The girl def has talent. And that's pretty awesome that she would spend that much time on his car like that. Cool chick.

Good article. FiST is a ton of fun. Also, it's "you're", not "your"

Meh. I disagree. Especially on an AWD car, I'd want a matched set front & rear. Just my 0.02.
