What does that have to do with how good the movie is? People are still afraid of theaters, I’m sure.

It’s always going to be a niche movie, but let’s not act like there isn’t genuine appreciation and passion for the movie. Box office is only part of the story.
Who cares what Scorsese thinks? What does James Cameron have to say about it?
And why do they keep using that still that looks like the cinematographer was Toulouse-Lautrec?
TÁR 2: The TÁRrering
I’m sure that all ten of the people who saw TÁR in theaters agree with him.
That really doesn't apply to used cars. Carvana IS the dealer. They just put it all online. Problem with that is most people want to actually drive a used car before buying it. Might be a different story if they could sell new cars.
I don’t know about the low overhead bit. You may not have to worry about staffing physical stores, but you need a larger call center presence. Also, delivering single cars to individuals is far costlier than delivering a dozen cars to a retail lot. Same with sending inspectors to people to evaluate the cars before…
Warranties are sold by carvana, they take some money and give the rest to the 3rd party warranty company who actually services the warranty.
That would require a group of people to actually care about them.
You mean over paying for trade ins sight unseen was a bad idea?
what was the whole point of this company to begin with? that it would be fun to put a large token in a giant vending machine & get a car?
No worries, the owners already cashed out billions in summer ‘21 when the stock was $300+. Hoocoodanode: a hegemonic family of used car salesmen would s—t the bed and leave everyone else to clean it up
I’d say short Carvana but there’s nothing left to short. Their only hope is to become a meme stock like Game Stop
Living in a van down by the river.
Where’s that guy that bought a bunch of CVNA betting on their recovery?
It was always pretty clear a lot of these revolutionary tunnels were gonna be bogus, but when Musk started meeting with government officials in FLORIDA about building tunnels, that’s when it became crystal clear to me.
Super obvious. Super-duper obvious.
Got to keep journalists honest otherwise crap like that becomes a ‘fact’ if left unchallenged.
“On top of that, Musk’s idea of a 700 mph vacuum-powered train is literally nowhere to be found in the real world.”
