Of course they have good upload speeds, we go to work everyday to pay for their high-speed cable internet!

I'll wait for a good video of a production model or to see one in person before I make a judgement. These voice over clips don't cut it.

"You're fat"

Don't get me wrong the GTI is the better car but the Veloster appealed to me for whatever reason. If it had the power of the Focus ST I would probably have bought one new, now I will probably pick up a used one someday for fun.

I cross-shopped it with an GTI.

Yeah that is why the Veloster costs much less and you get more features. You can full load up a Veloster for $1,000 more than a base GTI. To say that it is not something to look at in this segment is dumb, it is a great value get for anyone who wants to have fun and not pay vw repair bills. And lets face it people

I thought I heard that they were no longer selling the 2 door in the U.S. but I could be wrong ( I don't know where your from) but yeah their new site is shit.

Honestly the body kit is tasteful and so are the wheels.....no sacrilege here just pure sex!

I actually liked the Veloster alot but it just needed Focus ST power for me personally. Yeah, its apples to oranges but still not out of the realm of comparison, I mean just 1 year ago we could still get a 2 door gti.

Edmunds also noted the lack of steering feel compared to the competitors.

No, its a great car. But the segment the GTI once easily had on lock is now starting to drift away from them, especially with the arrival of the ST brothers. Consumer Reports is not the only one to ding the GTI for its lack of steering feel compared to its competitors along with it getting about the worse fuel

I don't know, most people who I have talked to that own a GTI, own one because they say it is the ultimate hot hatch. Not many say they bought it because it is grown-up and refined, those seem to come from the Audi owners.

I need to hear a production version from the outside before I make my decision on the sound, there was way too much intake noise on these interior videos.

I think thats the point of the complaints. Driver feedback, ect... try switching seats and see if you still feel the same way.

This is actually pretty easy to understand.

I live in a major metropolitan part of the world, which means I'm smart and ride a bicycle 90% of the time!!!!

SC500. SC430 was for 4.3 liter.

The bad part is most participants are doing it on a spur of the moment thing.

Thanks for posting this. I have been looking for a performance car that can also be driven in winter within my winter "beater" budget. Just found one on craigslist I am going to check out.

I know what you are trying to say but you are wrong about an LS being an Avalon underneath. The LS is riding on the New N Platform and the Avalon is on Toyota's K Platform. The Avalon is fwd, the LS is rwd. Avalon does not offer a V8, LS does not offer a V6. The only Lexus vehicles riding on Toyota platforms are
