I love moonroofs, but if you’re approaching this from the angle of what will be most coveted 20 years from now then you’d want the slick top. Probably the i6, too, though that’s loaded with diminishing returns for the cost.

I disagree with many of your points here, but asking for objectivity in media/reporting is a fair request. Predictably, this request was rewarded with an Internet pitchfork mob. Cherry picking stories and writing in a manner that excites the echo chamber is regressive journalism reflective of contrary sources many…
It’s also been rumored to get anything from a V8 to an inline six
Their GR v6 dates back to 2002. Toyota doesn’t have some trick up their sleeve here or we would’ve seen some life over a decade ago. They don’t have anything on par with the B58 so it was the MK5 we got or nothing.
The engine in the flagship Lexus dates back to 2006. You think Toyota would pop out a brand new engine packaged for a low production car?
I fault the original owner for preserving such a common car in this manner.
Tap one little card at the bottom
I’m torn. I’ve been told this is the best time to get rid of the car
Hard to gather tone, but this sounds like something on your wish list.
Ah, yes. In 2020 we’ll change “drive it like you stole it” to “drive it like you financed it.”
So they net $600 to have another six months of depreciation on the car and six months off its warranty? Yea, that’s not how a lease works, but maybe they’re hurting enough right now to work something out for you.
Hey now, I understand your C8-comparison logic, but let’s not discourage interesting color choices. Banana ‘vette FTW!
Car collecting doesn’t mesh with who I am as an enthusiast either, but I can understand why a rare piece of history that has enjoyed rigorous preservation is worth exponentially more than a lesser model of similar vintage that has been modified by John Doe to hit comparable performance numbers.
Stating the CEL will be fixed by a gas cap is like stating the “stains will wash right out” or “those scratches aren’t deep and will buff right out.”
$5,800 isn’t that far above market and, oh yea, this roadster comes with the proper transmission making the premium EASILY justifiable.
As Schmidt mentions in the clip, the driver could receive penalties of 10 years in jail for dangerous driving and six months in jail, two years of license suspension, and a $10,000 fine for street racing/stunt driving.
A beautiful car that has aged well, has a lot of life left and has THE transmission... that is also 30 - 40% overpriced. CP
That’s a great engine, but the marginal spec bump doesn’t make the other engine soulless in this comparison. I could see the AMG 4 pot with 400+ hp making the B48 feel soulless, but not the AR.
Would someone be legally within their rights to buy one of these dog drones and pilot it at these parks?
The B48 is one of the best 4-bangers on the market. It’s no inline 6, but it’s not like they threw the BRZ’s flat four in here.
