This clown needs my shoe. Miles be damned.

I think the point with the CVT is the current perception of unreliability. Due to a different manufacturer, of course.

My HOA would have a collective aneurysm trying to figure out how to cite me. Might be NP just for that?

It probably would’ve eased the blow a bit if the owners of a new Quadrifoglio riddled with problems weren’t given a rental Chrysler 300 during the extended repair times.

That’s the better part of a decade from now and will probably be hybrid if not full EV. Can’t blame the consumers at that point.

Throwing in anecdotes, I love my 6mt 340. When driving civilized the stick is perfectly situated with the arm rest and the clutch feel is incredibly light with a low bite point. Throws are a bit of a Goldilocks. Very relaxing and rewarding.

Good. How else do you expect people to concentrate on their cell phones while driving?

I guess my Mom was lucky. She drove one for nearly a decade and > 120k miles, had a good experience and traded it in for another Ford a month ago. I thought it felt fine, but a bit mechanical - which I dug, really. I never had an auto have me stabbing for a clutch like that one.

This car will turn heads better than cars costing 10x as much. Sure, $7k for age etc. is steep, but what are your options for comps given the condition? NP from me as this could be a fun second car with hauling utility that very well could be on the road 15 - 20 years from now.

Beautiful end result. Hopefully a fun project, too, because you’re going to have to take a haircut on it to get out of it. If really $40k in, we’re talking about a buzz cut.

People are just complaining to complain.”

This is anywhere from $5k - $15k too expensive depending on the smell.

What options would you kill to get this away from $60k. That’s close to inline 6 money.

Act hyped about the GT500 as if you can’t live without it and then, BAM, bend to her wishes for the GT350 compromise.

Exactly. Some people care about engine style and mounting as it affects center of gravity while others don’t care if they have 200 lbs of glass as a pano roof 7' off the ground.

The nomenclature on modern performance models is madness. I guess the competitors already have F/S/M sport so why not make this V sport to help ease the confusion a bit. Ford and FCA seem to do the best job of distinguishing performance models.

If options can boost a car’s top-level trim by more than 15% then it’s a luxury car.

A “suddenly out of nowhere” new position is a great thing. A “suddenly out of nowhere” $40k car loan is a bad thing.

Surprised I haven’t found the guy eager to tell us why automatics are “objectively better because of [marginal stat]”

That orange with the black wheels is gorgeous. I agree that avoiding bastardizing the Blazer name would’ve gone a long way to help this vehicle stand on its own merits.
