Logged on for the first time in months this weekend. Tried to play “Up in Smoke.” After 4 attempts, where the match was cancelled due to lack of players, I logged back off.

I applaud your misplaced optimism.
She couldn’t continue filming, so why should they bother keeping those scenes (which almost certainly would revolve around plot points they’d have to abandon now, anyway)? Best to just cut the whole character and move on.
If those already filmed scenes were, say, setting up further stories for her character, it absolutely makes sense to just get rid of them, rather than set something up that will never pay off.
They film in Canada, and her passport was seized. She was out of the show one way or the other, might as well make it a clean break.
I don’t think we need to make it a competition. They’re both Morons. But trump is the moron with the codes.
Well, I doubt Ill read a dumber post today.
Piss off, ghost!
Really, that ship had sailed long before a trailer was cut, or really before any of the film was even shot. Rufallo’s casting, just like any other, made the trades as soon as the ink dried. Sites, like say, this one, ran the news immediately.
Daddy alone is worth $80 million, so lets cut the “they had to do this to afford it” nonsense.
Dude, you’re the one coming off as a wannabe edgelord.
Its been out on video pretty much everywhere BUT the US for months now. Reviews seem to be that its... okay, and pretty much the right kind of movie for a VOD release.
Yes, and they’re douchebags, too...
If the content was made for 4x3 and you’re stretching it, yeah. Absolutely. Maybe you like everyone to have heads like Stewie Griffith... but it is generally weird, yes.
Or do you not get what the discussion is about...?
If all they watch is Fox, you can be damned sure the brainwashing is already deeply set in.
Because whatever form the cut exists in, is almost certainly a mess. Missing or placeholder FX, audio not polished, color correction not done. That’s not how they like any product to be seen, regardless of circumstances. And finishing it to a releasable state would cost more than they’d make back.
Because Disney paid whoever, or some similar nonsense.
Yep. Haven’t played it in over a decade, but on reading the headline, I was having instant, queasily accurate aural flashbacks.
‘Rasslin’ springs to mind.
I got all of one sentence before saying “this has to be a dude.”
