That won’t be the final look. With color grading, they shoot everything flat now, and adjust later.

That’s one event among many, and it comes fairly early. The entire series, it is not.
This was my reaction, as well. I love The Wire, but its been years since I watched it, and had no idea that was Jordan. Now Im an even bigger fan.
“Shaddup or ill give you a purple scar!!”
Oh, I absolutely agree that they’re mostly insufferable. I just got lucky.
Even the grind isn’t bad if you’re smart. There’s always some mode playing double, focusing on those speeds up earning a lot.
Sometimes, you even get lucky with random kids. I became sidekick to a talented little 10 year old, who coached me into being a better player in just a few rounds.
He actually had just bought his first house there in Atlanta, thinking he’d be on the show for some time yet.
A premise isn’t copyrightable. The details are. Otherwise, the writers of Point Break would have made bank off of The Fast and Furious.
“ why would all of the Avengers be running together with the badasses of Wakanda in what looks like an epic battle with Thanos in the Avengers: Infinity War trailer?”
That you thought there was any sort of “promise” makes my point, despite your many inane protestations.
Oh, and their membership hasn’t gone down, its risen every single year. They gained 24 million in the last year, so Im not sure what “reality” you’re referring to...
True, but that doesn’t mean they don’t sound dumb complaining about things they dont grasp.
Down perhaps, if you only want older films (as they never, with a very few exceptions, had new stuff to begin with), perhaps. But given that their subscriber base keeps growing, Id say that they called things correctly by shifting their focus to original programming.
Its that you seemingly expected that to remain the case, even though its been clear for many years now that the market was fragmenting, that makes you wrong. You also think its entirely up to Netflix which movies they show, which is inane.
Reality in that they don’t have a very realistic understanding of the business, sure.
You’re sort of right. Yes, they’re putting a lot into originals, because they’re losing access to programming from other studios as they launch their own services. They knew this was going to happen, and got out in front of it.
Why, its almost as if the business has evolved, and distributors have more than one option for streaming!
Im embarrassed for not making that connection, myself.
Twice I have bought systems just to play Metal Gear. I used to take days off from work when a new MG game arrived.
