Really? I more or less ignore that for the story and politics. I guess it just depends what you focus on.

I still don’t attack unless provoked, which yes, has lead to a lot of death on my part.
One of many on their rap sheet.
I loved that game. It is a crime that there isn’t a current gen version.
Riiight. Totally the same thing. Which is why everyone was able to play last night. Oh, wait....
This is true. But you’ve already written off this one, sight unseen, for one element. There’s “changing too much” and there’s “They changed SOMETHING, WAAAAH!” That you seem to be indulging in the latter is why folks are laughing.
Well, yes. Adaptation does not mean good or bad, but it does mean “to change.” Are you following? Is English your second (or third) language or something?
You know what “adaptation” means, right?
It was pretty awesome getting to hack away with that sword, guilt-free.
Ah, realistic. So, as others discuss the actual depth of the story, you’re being “realistic” by stubbornly insisting “Nope, I want my Star Wars simple and flashy, do depth, please!”
How limited.
And you seem to be confusing better story with more marketable story.
As much as I enjoy the Arkham series, the DLC almost all sucks.
The just did a big graphic novel sale the other day for ComicCon, so that might not happen.

Better is a matter of opinion. If you think more of the same is preferable to including all of that, plus adding new features (which plenty of people DO enjoy) then so be it. But your opinion is hardly fact.
So, there being 16 firefighters to rescue (under different scenarios, with different tactics required) means that they didn’t expand the combat with partners, or introduce new gameplay with the Batmobile? Or is does that somehow add a new element to Origins?
Opposite for me. Knight solidified Origins as the weakest, simply for repetition. While I had issues with the story in Knight, I don’t even remember Origins’. But I do remember getting bored with the gameplay. Each Rocksteady sequel expanded the gameplay. The only new thing in Origins were the shock gloves that nerfed…
I enjoyed it way, way more than the glitchy rehash that was Origins.
And those people, now knowing how to get revenge, would just give up after a transparently faked death. Sure. Ok. Because they’ve been established as such reasonable, even tempered folk.
Sure, HE doesn’t care about luxury, but we’re talking about the perception of others - and to 98% of those he goes after (the rank and file crooks and henchmen, not the psychotic uber-villains), very much do. And someone willing to give up EVERYTHING they dream of, just to kick their asses, seems scarier than a myth…
