That doesn’t really work in the universe the games presented. Batman had already been seen on TV by the public before the timeframe of the games even began (as mentioned in dialog, and depicted in Origins). He walked openly around the Police station and through the halls of Arkham. He was very much a tangible person,…
Eh, that doesn’t work for me. If he was just starting out, maybe. But I don’t think anyone actually thought he was a giant bat - they all knew he was a guy in a suit. The fear comes from what he does. Knowing his name doesn’t un-cripple the hundreds of criminals he’s put in traction.
As others pointed out, most of that is moot. Every one of those people has still been a target, regardless. I dont see the lawsuits as a problem, he’s been ignoring what laws he chooses for years. I don’t see him suddenly complying with a suit. He loses the company anyway by faking his death.
Its funny when people so aggressively display that they don’t even grasp the topic at hand.
I don’t even see why he’d do that. Tony Stark really, really *likes* being Tony Stark. Being “Bruce Wayne” always seems like a huge inconvenience to Batman.
Message from Lex Luthor on the answering machine.
Retiring because his identity is known doesn’t seem very Batman to me, either. Seems he’d more likely go “Cool, no more faking being a normal person!” and carry on.
I think after Chappie hit a wall, his sequel is a lot less likely (and pretty much hasn’t been mentioned by any parties since).
And you reveal yourself to be ignorant of a common turn of phrase, while trying to look smart.
“Batman and Robin was probably not any worse as a movie than its mediocre predecessor,Batman Forever.”
Did you miss episode 9? Sleep through it? Something must have happened.
Interesting point.
Oh, I totally get that this is huge for some people. Im just doubtful it makes a huge impact across the board (this feature alone that is, it has been a good day for MS). I thought backwards comparability was really cool on the 360, but then only used it once or twice, and haven’t really known anyone who used it much…
The percentage of comments made without watching the video (I want the old D-Pad? Where’s a cord? Will it work with PC?) is astounding.
But that takes precious seconds away from indignation time!!!!
You found that confusing? Im sorry.
Maybe. They had that claim with the last generation, too - but there were plenty that remained either unplayable, or broken so badly they might as well have been.
It matters to some, yes. Enough to make a huge impact? Way too early to tell.
Yeah, Im wondering why people are acting like this is huge. Feels more like a desperate hail-Mary from the company lagging in sales.
