The plan all along, honestly. We can cry that it’s political suicide, but the United States last free election was likely in 2012 so it won’t matter. Just in case, make it seem like “the only option the democrats gave is and let the base lap it up.

This is startlingly funny. I guess Prudence didn’t cut it for them.

But for my Nana’s intervention I would have been called Faith, Hope, Charity surname... I still got Faith along with 4 other names of which 2 I am known by... complicated and shady looking to outsiders lol!

Hey, at least they didn’t go with Chastity.

Judge Kara Brown, ladies and gents.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! The next one will be named Mike.

I was looking for another H but couldn’t come up with one. That sounds about right.

One of my proudest moments took place in high school. Lisa, the bitchy “cool girl,” called me a lesbian (an insult, as far as she was concerned). I smiled, walked over to where she was sitting, and rested my hand on her leg. “That’s interesting; I didn’t think my crush on you counted,” I deadpanned. She didn’t speak

Yes! Thank you for this. I was horribly bullied through out school because we moved every two years to another small town. Always being the new girl continually opened me up for the hazing that small town America excels in. Like you, I laser focused my misery on escape through education. Grown up me has traveled

Very much this. There is only one other person still in my life who knew her and that person lives in another country. We got together this year for the first time in a long time and it was such a relief be able to physically reassure myself that that part of my life wasn’t some really strange fever dream.

I love that conversation - I would have totally misinterpreted that phone call too. I was working in a bookstore and late one night I received what I now recognize as a obscene phone call: scruffy man’s voice, “do you have Adult books?”... me, “Oh yes and a big children’s section too!” ...confused silence....dialtone.

My next door neighbor was in my high school class. We played softball and she punched me in the face one day at practice. Then she died shortly after we graduated and I never managed to gaf... I know exactly what you’re talking about with the weird apathy.

I went to the city fair yesterday. The local 4-H was doing some livestock showing, and guess what, there were a lot of Wranglers. Also, a lot of Carhartt, and maybe some other stuff I didn’t recognize because I’m not from this hick town and I don’t care.

Ahhh, bumblefuck Eastern Oregon.

I think there is something to feeling too cool. It shows in the way you carry yourself and the way you talk. It gives you a confident edge that doesn’t make you a good target. I was very weird in high school but also did not give a fuck about the people I went to school with. Nobody bothered me.

I like your story. I don’t know whether to be sad or glad that I was too socially inept to know when I was being insulted. It definitely has a protective effect against mean people.

Well golly thanks!! That’s quite an offer. I only have three animals and all of them destroy civilized living spaces, but look cute doing it. Batts eyelashes

“Bully: If you wore wranglers, people wouldn’t laugh at you all the time.”

Did...did you grow up in Burns?
