The longer you watch Congress the more you realize the more radical the newly elected, the more moderate the second term.

The best description of Trump I have heard is that he speaks loudly and carries a small stick.  This seems to also apply to AOC.  I am sure she will get better at compromise though.  Look at her first tangle with Pelosi.  

Excellently, the first bill Democrats plan to introduce would shore up voting rights, get rid of Citizens United and, incidentally, either block both Trump or Sanders from running or make them much more transparent.

Why is AOC the shiny new thing?  She has a bunch of ideas, but she doesn’t seem to have and real idea of how to implement them.  A decade in the Senate with Bernie has probably given McCaskill respect for people who do rather than talk.
