I always wondered when having never done the hard mode stuff because I lack the friends playing Destiny would come back to bite me. I am wary of PUGs for this sort of thing.

Given the amount of lag and cheating you encounter in Destiny’s PvP, it was probably a wise choice to keep it out of this list.

The $500 million is for the franchise as a whole over a ten year period, so I gather that most of that money is earmarked for future sequels and DLC and bad cross-promotions. But yeah, they could have found the spare change in there for dedicated servers.
