Damn... some defensive comments here. The gamer doth protest too much, methinks. He’s not saying video games are bad, he’s not attacking them. He’s saying some video games are designed to be time sinks (absolutely, positively true) and admitting that he’s vulnerable to that kind of addictive behavior.

I absolutely agree with Atlus and the content protection laws on this. Streaming the gameplay in a game like this can really hurt sales more than with other types of games.

Gamers really need to decide how long they think it should take to develop a game. There are so many people who whine about games that take a long time to develop and so many people who complain that games are unfinished when they ship.

Prompto’s English voice actor was bad? That’s news to me...

Well it’s pretty simple for me, really. If I want a new copy of a game, and Gamestop tells me they have no new copies available for sale, then I’ll take my business to a competitor.
