Agreed. I think Toto just wants to make sure that when the inevitable announcement comes that Russel is taking the seat from Bottas that Bottas doesn’t pull a “give no fucks” move like when Vettel got his walking papers from Ferrari.

I agree they don’t necessarily “owe” each other anything, but I do get a little irked by the whole “oh, he’s taking up a seat that could be occupied by a young driver” spiel. There are way more young and promising drivers than there are seats in F1, that’s always going to be the case. If someone is fast enough, lucky…
This is how F1 has always been. Senna won his three WDCs in a McLaren that was overwhelmingly dominate. In 1988 McLaren took 1st or 2nd (often both) in every race but 1. In 1992 he finished 4th. 1993 was a weird year because of the FW-15C but he managed 2nd. Yet many see him as the “definite GOAT”. Lewis also won in…
spoiler: Hamilton (while certainly _one_ _of_) is not the best F1 driver of all time.
for 6 of his 7 championships (excluding McLaren) he has had the best car by a second a lap or more over the next best car, and equally important a much more reliable engine. he has never been in a shit car, so we can’t ever…
It’s not Mercedes per say, but Toto’s “need”to help Bottas, which arises from his relationship with him. Prior to signing with Mercedes, Bottas was managed by Toto.

An important reminder that your local elections are far more important than the national ones, at least in terms of your day-to-day life. Say what you will about any President, none of them made it illegal for you to register your car in Maine and none of them could’ve even if they wanted to.
Only in Canada .. and depending on who you are in relation to him and what classes he’s taking in school down in the USA... and what state you’re currently in.
Has telling anyone who is angry at you “calm down” ever worked successfully for anyone?
Prost and Senna were actively crashing into each other and where taking each other out, at certain points of the season, which would seal a world championship.
Personal? What’s personal? Nothing to see here...
This episode of Drive to Survive is going to be LIT.
Heated rivalries make for good entertainment and I am so here for it. This has been the best season of F1 I can remember for a long time.
Pizza, I’ll buy him pizza, someone else bring beer the alcohol free stuff...
True but people should be very careful touching anyone car without permission no matter how well meaning they may be they don’t want the owner to claim later they damaged it.
We could pay for a plane ticket to a country that has 18+ drinking laws and then buy him a drink there.
Get him a hooker. If he doesn’t pay for it, he hasn’t broken any law.
That, unfortunately would be contributing to a minor. Hell we can't even get him a cigar.
Or joining the Boy Scouts.
If a man wants to molest children, joining the clergy is easier than transitioning, right?
