I like this idea

But that’s the thing...it’s not your call, right? A seatbelt will only save the life of the person in the seat. Wear a seatbelt or don’t - it’s literally not your fucking problem if someone dies from their own foolishness. I wear my seatbelt RELIGIOUSLY. Seriously. It’s the first and last thing I do when

Honestly, this is the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen. It’s a concept that caters to a non-existent market. I mean, seriously? An autonomous sports car/GT? Who is this for? It’s not practical enough to be the family DD, but it’s also a snooze fest - even in self driving mode, I can’t imagine this thing is anywhere as

It’s people such as yourself that have kept me on this site. This is good Kinja. Thanks for doing the legwork/homework.

That’s a very fair point. I retract Harris from the list - that’s simply life, and to have a sexual relationship with someone is part of life. You can choose to leverage your opportunities or let them sit idle. Well said, sir (or ma’am).

Waiting for that dirty delete...

I’m just curious why they didn’t use a Michelin PS4S or a UHP Continental instead of a tire that’s explicitly known nationwide as an Auto-X ringer tire and one degree away from an R Compound. Did VW think people would not notice? It seems all everyone is discussing is the tire selection (From Jalopnik to Savagegeese)

The conduct is atrocious and shouldn’t be tolerated by either party. However, to address your point, someone above put it quite succinctly:

THIS. Spectacularly written, yet will go ignored in the comments.

I was looking for this comment - exactly this. Having an RE71 on the front axle with OEM rubber on the rear will absolutely help an FWD vehicle rotate on turn entry. There were plenty of ways for VW to go about this launch, but “ringer” rubber kinda makes them lose credibility.

I’m with you Adam - no confirmation. Until it’s confirmed I’m holding out...

Frankly, same. I still bought FH4, but I was left disappointed. Hopefully this one provides a more “complete” experience relative to FH4. Also, I’m glad that they explored England, but it’s time to choose a slightly less dreary location.

Easy to steal in terms of anti-theft/keys, tons of performance for the money so they’re common in most areas (whether rural or metropolitan), relatively inconspicuous despite their appearance because of the sheer number of them on the street, tons of room inside for 4 dudes to comfortably do hoodrat shit with my

Calm down there. I don’t think anyone here is actively saying (unless I missed it, in which case it’s absolutely awful behavior) that this kid deserved to be “punished”. No situation is entirely black/white. In this case, there’s a significant amount of blame to be put on the child for placing himself in a position

I mean...his take is exactly the same as yours though. He conceded your main point - just because it wasn’t in the same words doesn’t mean it’s a “terrible take”. Blame is on the teen but the LAPD should absolutely render aid.

You don’t. Your entire assessment is correct. Tons of shit went wrong here, but the fact that nobody was willing to take a police report is fucking atrocious.

Yes and no. Your analogy isn’t quite accurate. In this case, we may have a Commerce Clause issue as well since failure to honor another state’s license plate is interfering with interstate commerce. However, you are correct that some states can choose not to honor another’s CC permits.

What strikes me as odd, though, is the “responsibility” Wolff says he has to do everything in his power to ensure Bottas “has a great future.”

OOOOOFFFF. Well done.

Can we buy this man a beer? The world needs more people like him.
