Given the dearth of Black women on the Federal bench, simply being a Black woman nominated for such a position (at any level—district, circuit, or SCOTUS,) makes one exceptional. Semantics aside, everyone on Biden’s short list is a superstar; they make ACB look like Lionel Hutz. 

What an interesting way to admit that SCOTUS requires a higher level of scrutiny than being elected to the Senate, Lisa, considering your decidedly unexceptional, mediocre ass has taken up space there for 20 years. 

Also, there’s apprehension at taking Sen. Murkowski at her word given her recent record striking down the current voting rights bills.
