It’s a reason I recommend Path of Exile wholeheartedly. Nothing in the game requires payments, though there are a few convenience features you can buy (Extra stash tabs). There really aren’t many companies that do F2P well, but GGG, Riot (largely, but I’m speaking as a player since season 1) and a few others are good.

Well, in theory there is a worse replacement already in the form of Refreshment vendor. Better body, worse healing, and cheaper. I suspect it will get really heavy play now due to healbot being gone, which is the cool part. So many TGT cards were on the cusp of being good, but outclassed by GVG or Naxx cards.
