Theme parties I attended in college: Toga, Tropical Island, 80's Prom, Sock Hop, 60's, and various award show themed — Oscars, CMAs, MTV Video Music Awards. Of the above, I suspect the ancient Greeks would take the most issue with our cultural appropriation. Why are these themes (and others like them) not good

By that logic, anything up to, but not including, genocide is a-okay.

"THEY WERE DOING IT, TOO!"

The sibling and I tried that b.s. as kids. We both got timeouts.

I'm kind of more mad at the people who defended it. Every single bs defense line was touted out. They didn't mean to be racist? It gives the Greek system a bad rep for no reason?

That reminds me of the one friend that posts endless selfies on my Facebook - she's transgender and as her transition continues on she feels more and more like herself and the amazing boost of self-confidence that comes from coming into a body that matches her mind causes her to take lots of selfies. And that's not a

I mean, Van Gogh was like the original Miley Cyrus:

My favorite selfie -

I was prediabetic, I lost 60 pounds, I look fucking good, I take a lot of selfies, and you will all fucking deal with it.

"Young women take selfies because they don't derive their sense of worth from themselves, they rely on others to bestow their self-worth on them — just as they've been taught.

Oh, for pete's sake: I like to take pictures. I like to sometimes take pictures of myself. Sometimes I like to share those pictures with people.
