I would guess it also has to do with the cost per guest of a wedding. Average wedding costs are also lower in the middle of the country, so you could have more people for less money. Don't forget that when abortion is legal, it's very very safe. Watching people testifying for/against the Texas TRAP bill from home, I actually applauded the woman who asked the legislators if the bill is about improving women's health, could any of them explain why it's not safe already?
