Sooooo, does this mean my Take Back The Night t-shirt from a march in 2002 is now a de facto JT concert t? I don't know how to feel about that...

I'm glad this was brought up....when I heard the song title on the radio I was like, "What the eff? Is it an awareness song?"
I assume he didn't go to college? I feel like everyone in college learns what Take Back the Night is all about.
Ok so JT didn't know, ok, whatever, but none of his people and no one at the record label has heard of "Take Back The Night"? perhaps someone should run song titles through google and see what pops up... Just to make sure there is nothing that might be a conflict...
Baking and knitting, really? Does that guy really, honestly think that's what we do? Sit around comparing cookie recipes, knitting snuglies for our future babies, and browsing shoe sales? Come on. Does he even know any actual women?
I would like to extend my thanks to every single nervous bride and large wedding guest list person on this thread for reassuring me that The Import and I are doing the right thing by having six people total - including us - at our wedding.
Yeah, I'm thinking that Midwesterners tend to have a lot of family that still lives in the same area they all grew up, and they might have very close ties with the whole community, so they basically just invite the whole town.In contrast, a recent California transplant might only invite close family, since they will…
I always get so worried when I see these things, 'cuz like...I don't even know that many people. And I'd want a huge, crazy rave affair of a wedding. But I only give a shit about maybe 20 people.
I'm just gonna have to invite the whole damn city and make new friends, I guess.
I would guess it also has to do with the cost per guest of a wedding. Average wedding costs are also lower in the middle of the country, so you could have more people for less money. Apparently, they are also less formal, which I would think would again lower the cost per guest, so you could have more people.
Yes but she's in charge of hardware so you know what that means, right? PINK XBOXES WITH RAINBOW GLITTER FOR EVERYONE!!! Hoorayyyyyyy!
"...you know who doesn't have time to play a lot of video games in a very serious manner? High-ranking employees at Microsoft, that's who!"
Let's just keep pretending the only issue is with fake geek girls polluting the waters—not full-blown fucking sexism. Seriously, fucking 2013 and there are little bitches out there that think she can't do her job because she's a woman? Fuck that.
I understand that abstractly, anti-abortion people think abortion is murder.
Can we please talk about the fact that this woman BEAUTIFULLY pointed out that she was able to heroically stand for Texas woman because of her position of privilege? Thank you so much for that Ms. Slamen.
Lawrence O'Donnell loves him some sassy, mouthy broads. And I say "sassy, mouthy broads" as one of the highest compliments one can give.
I love that she addresses the privilege that everyone is going to use as ammunition against her. It's time for all of us to quit merely acknowledging our privilege, to stop pantomiming guilt, and begin utilizing it to fight for those who have been systematically robbed of their medical choices. Sarah Slamen is not…
COMMENT OF THE DAY.
Don't forget that when abortion is legal, it's very very safe. Watching people testifying for/against the Texas TRAP bill from home, I actually applauded the woman who asked the legislators if the bill is about improving women's health, could any of them explain why it's not safe already? Of course no one responded.
I know, right? I mean, if you get rid of chemotherapy, people stop getting cancer. So if you outlaw abortion, people will totally stop having unwanted pregnancies...
There's no describing how tickled I am to find so many Jezzies who follow GH. This was my shit back in the day. At the women's college I attended, people actually gathered around one of the big screen TVs in the student center to watch GH every day.
True story. Hahahahahaha! Sonny + Original (Sarah Brown) Carly 4 Lyf
