I feel like I’m one of the few people who does not really feel like the Office is anything more than a cringeworthy, terrible show that wasn’t funny when it first aired, and has only gotten less funny as time goes by. It was a show that had some good quick moments, but little more. I know most people think I’m wrong

Until stores can make the touchless payment systems more seamless, where tapping with my iPhone won’t cause my bank to think I’m being defrauded and lock my card out, then things will be better. The only places I’ve had relatively good luck using Apple Pay without issues are Walgreens and Jersey Mikes.

I know I’m in a very small minority when I say this, but I dislike The Office with a seething passion. It was cringeworthy as hell ten years ago when it first aired, and it is not aging gracefully at all. And yes, I get the point that it’s supposed to be cringeworthy, but, ugh. I don’t find it all that funny outside

Dick Tracy isn’t a great movie, but it had some good ideas. I loved how they kept the color palette for the whole movie to the 8 primary colors used in the comic strips. The 30s settings and such were good as well. I think with a better writer and director, we could get an interesting reboot out of this, but sadly

Given that they have a Trademark on “Sota Style”, I’m fairly certain that’s all marketing.

Their small (10oz) cups have been paper for years. Only the Medium, Large, and XL cups are foam.

Let’s put this in perspective. It’s $15 for a bowl, chips and guac, and a drink. The queso is grainy and flavorless. Plus, they’re so stingy with the portions that it’s ridiculous (you can tell how conscious the staff is about how much of each ingredient they’re putting in—clearly, corporate has come down hard on

The Who is Kaiser Salsa is pretty good for a milder salsa. I like that one a lot.

That doesn’t sound bad, but pozole without pork in it seems sacrilegious lol.

So early on in the episode, when the vague terrorists are coming for Mulder and Scully in their house, Scully does one of those action movie tropes of sliding under a table super fast and simultaneously kicking it over to shield herself from gunfire. All I could think is, “Really?!?”

I thought she was not involved in the B&B restaurant enterprise in any way?

I’ve been a Firefox user since it was Phoenix, and they can pry it from my cold dead hands. I’ve always found Chrome’s rendering of web pages, especially fonts, to be abysmal. Firefox isn’t perfect, and it fell very behind because its developers got lost in the woods with what should be important for a while, but it’s

Glad it wasn’t just me. Tasted like a plain mocha you would get from them, but somehow blander. I didn’t get it.

I also had to delete the 2FA and set it back up to only use the authentication app option. Once I did that, I was good to go.

I don’t knock the humble bologna and cheese. It’s still delicious. Only now I get some Shickhaus from the deli counter instead of the OM stuff from the cooler case. I kind of wish I had one to eat right now.

This is a reminder that Wendys needs to bring back the Big Bacon Classic once and for all. It was not quite the same as just adding bacon to one of the existing burgers on the menu. It had the right ratio of everything and was such a satisfying burger that we lost to whatever the hell the Baconator is.

ok, ok, i get it. i’m the minority who loves these future episodes. the problem with this one was that it jumped all over the map a bit too much. also, i know this is partly a factor of it being 28 years later, but the fact that the canonical “past” of the simpsons is now the early 90s (the homer and marge hair of

Here’s the thing about Fallon. All of his material is designed to be packaged up and viewed on YouTube while you’re on the train to work the next morning. It’s repetitive and boring. Celebs come on because he’s a softball interviewer. His stuff works once or twice, then it’s just boring. You almost want to tune in to

People grouse about the change to the extensions system, but what this really means is that a lot of the stuff that has been Chrome-only for a long time should be available as a FF addon with very little effort on the part of the developers going forward. Not from Google themselves, I’m sure, but plenty of other devs

Now playing

I’m glad someone mentioned “The Food”, because that was a great performance.
