I agree, but I would also accept Knives Out 2: The Legend of Curly’s Gold

To be fair, he didn’t exactly come out of that fall unscathed. He broke his back and ever since has been unable to walk without leg braces. Admittedly, those braces are fancy Stark tech, and as such seem to be only a minor inconvenience, but it still shows that even in this fantasy world there are limits to what a

I.. just now realized this.

I just finished a rewatch of the whole Farscape series for the first time in more than decade. I was delighted to find that it still holds up and is wonderful!

Karli didn’t need to be Killmonger - well the problem is she *wasn’t* — Killmonger was much more fleshed out, he was *right* that Wakanda should share its wealth, his motives were pretty easy to understand. Karli had potential that was squandered somewhat messily and we never got to know much about her.

I too loved Scropius

He reminded me frequently of one of my all-time favourite villains, Farscape’s Scorpius, so that’s a tick in the “pro” side of the ledger.

Putting the events of the episode aside- I gotta tell you, this review is really beautifully written. Contrasting Steve, John and Bucky and adding that empathetic personal touch- top notch writing.

Of that list, Texas Chainsaw Massacre is probably the most all-around terrific. I love Night of the Living Dead, and it’s an excellent movie, but sometimes you just aren’t in the mood for a dialog-heavy horror movie.

Everyone has their point with his oeuvre. For me it was the shitty hubris of “Lady in the Water.” Unforgivable.

“Enjoy” is maybe not the right word, but American History X was amazing, but I can’t watch it again.

To me, great movies are akin to great music: they are not diminished in terms of enjoyment in repeat viewings/listenings.

I feel like you’re really leaving Gamora and Nebula in the dirt here. Nebula doesn’t even get a mention! GOTG2 took time to let the two of them fight, talk it out, sort of reconcile but not really, and then kept it going across timelines and alternate universes in Infinity War and Endgame. The fanservicey theatrics of

I listen to the Punk playlist on Apple Music constantly and of course Neat Neat Neat played, so I decided to check out the accompanying album, and now I listen to it constantly, beginning to end. Even Feel the Pain, which starts off weird and slow (not a bad thing but not like the other songs), finishes fast, and

Keith Moon.

There are so many ways to be a great drummer and to try to decide whose musical voice is best is a fool’s errand. I’m a Moonie fan more the Bonham but that’s just my personal preference. Pete said they he’d do Who arrangements centered around Keith’s drumming; I doubt the same could be said of Bonham.

Good drum break but it really defined the use of gated reverb (that Genesis accidentally discovered) that went on to become the drum sound of the 80's.

The answer is Ginger Baker.

non-drummer here, but guitar player wannabe looser. Bonham did some insane stuff. there are videos about how he matched drum beats with jimmy paige guitar riffs (its harder than it sounds) and did crazy timing/rhythm changes and how they drove the songs. he looked like he was just banging away, but the technicality of

As an old i can say that Phil Collins was just simply cool for a while in the 70s and 80s. Genesis was an excellent band and some of his early solo stuff just kicked ass.
