Holy shit, with this and the Star Wars movies, there are a lot of things coming this fall/winter that seem determined to make me feel 8 years old again. I couldn’t be happier.

I think it works because it’s set in the 1980s. If ever there was a time when, realistically, super-heroes would look ridiculous, it’s then. People dressed like comic book characters in the 1980s.
