You’re kidding, right? These look like concepts other automakers showed back when EVs were not a thing.  This shows nothing of them being remotely serious. They are if anything very far behind.

Those numbers are not of the general population those are just Model 3 owners who sold them didn’t buy another Tesla.

1. I don’t know what you mean by “few remaining customers”. Tesla is literally the #1 EV manufacturer in the world.

It was certainly a minor design oversight but since all manufacturers (except for a few holdouts) have committed to switching to NACS, it’s really such a short term problem, maybe they did think of it but didn’t care enough to fix it. Maybe they’ll just make a new adapter that is Cybertruck specific.

It’s hard not to be pedantic in this study, because if we’re going to make this sort of silly argument we may as well be as accurate as we can.

This is one of the few times I wouldn’t blame tesla that much since battery chemistry and manufacturing is fucking hard.

You can have both: Canbus. Even if you have real electric switches, they usually go through the canbus (or whatever system that particular manufacturer uses), and from there, the action is triggered.
