let them GO, and find them later.
let them GO, and find them later.
Not really convinced a Crown Brick would have stuck the landing any better, and that Exploder CERTAINLY protected it’s idiotic occupant better in the ensuing crash.
The dealer I bought my PHEV hadn’t a fucking clue how it worked. I went in knowing what I wanted, just wanted to sit behind the wheel to see how it felt, and the sweaty bastard completely failed to make an attempt at selling me on it. The car did all the work. Had I not known exactly what I wanted, and everything…
I thought that was the “EV that’s just a midsize hatchback nobody wants”.

Wait, what? This is actually happening. Didn’t Better Life try this and fail miserably?
Lukewarm take: The remake is a better movie than the original. The original has one thing going for it and that’s an amazing chase scene and... that’s it.
Yes and no. This is a case of VW being too clever for its own good.
I dunno, looking at the after crash photo of the Tesla, it doesn’t look that bad actually. I expected much worse based upon the speed and how much the overturned truck moved after impact in the .gif at the top. I think whatever the sauce the truck was loaded with must’ve absorbed a lot of the impact. What I’m getting…
Did you want a broken nose?
No the hit looks to be pretty soft as far as highway collisions go. The main structure looks like it held up well.
It looks like the car plowed into the roof of the truck, which probably isn’t terribly rigid or reinforced beyond making sure it doesn’t cave in when it snows. So it wouldn’t be equivalent of hitting a vehicle or a wall. More like hitting a bunch of shrubs.
No Tesla fanboy here, but... not knowing the speed on that highway, given the brakes were full on and the truck appeared to be full of squishy produce, and the driver walked away (hopefully belted in), maybe the shock wasn’t actually great enough to set off the airbags?
Imagine being the cop. It must be horrifying. You start attacking cops, you aren’t protesting anymore you are just rioters that need to be dealt with.
Mach-E alone is fine. Mustang Mach-E is disgusting.
My friend, all global white collar FCA workers took a 20% pay deferral effective March 30th.
IANAL:
I understand your argument that it’s a small amount of money for the company. I think the problem might be that, if they pay them more than is obligated in the contract, it could invalidate the contract. If the contract isn’t enforced at this time, then when something really egregious happens, the UAW can say…
What grievance would the UAW have? How dare you follow the contract we signed?
Can we take down Erik’s article and put this in it’s place? I mean read this:
The extra effort is “clicking” purchase price button right next to the “include potential savings” button. I mean, you’d have to be dumb as a rock to be tricked by this.
