Except my point is if you read the wall street journal article, nowhere does it say it involved the touchscreen, it says “gearshift” which suggests the regular stalk. The same WSJ also said the car was a 2020 Model X, which doesn’t have the touchscreen system.

If it was a 2020 Model X as the WSJ article claims, it even has standard manual door handles (not the separate button and emergency handle) and it does not have the touchscreen shifter. I wonder where the author here got that it had the touchscreen shifter given the article doesn't mention it.

Yes it does, the WSJ source article also doesn’t say it was the touchscreen shifter, but in fact it says it was a 2020 Model X which does not have the touchscreen shifter.

Do you have any confirmation it has the touchscreen shifter or what model year it was? The article you link claims it was a 2020 Model X which has the Mercedes column shifter. Nowhere does it mention the touchscreen.

For most people, the cause doesn’t matter, because they are deliberately targeting innocent civilian vehicles. Most reports do however point out their justification for doing so, just that few people buy it as justified. They already lost the audience by the way they went around doing it. They are literally using

It used to require a keycard, but due to popular demand, that requirement was removed in subsequent updates. This is because many people lose their key cards and they end up not being able to set up new keys themselves, which then requires a service visit, which is a huge hassle.

They said explicitly they are targeting ships that are linked to Israel, UK, and US, not only Israel. This is knowing full well they are crewed primarily by innocent nationals that are not from those countries, and that if sunk, it could cause an ecological disaster in the region that can last for years if not decades

Count went to 3 yesterday, not that the Houthis care about innocent lives nor genocide (as long as it’s against a race they hate) if you look at their history and their slogan (not going to quote here as some parts would qualify as hate speech, but very easy to find on with a search online).

Is he any more than or even close to the danger of the Trumpers still in office that influence major decisions of the country? If you look at some of the hearings of the House and Senate, you will shake your head on how incompetent the people are. Put aside your bias against Elon and listen to some of his talk on

I’m just here to chime in I thought exactly the same thing. Given all the pictures, I thought at lease one of them would show the stock example so I can know what to look for. No one should have to “google” to look up the OEM example.

The BZ4x (a BEV) is literally ranked higher than the equivalent RAV4 Prime (a PHEV)! Seems like PHEVs are that scam if that is the case (given the battery is 3.5x the capacity, which according to the BEV naysayers means it must be much worse).

Except they are NOT the same batteries. Any study that assumes that is not worth the paper they are written on. There are a ton of different battery chemistries (NCA, NMC, NMCA, LFP just to name some of the more commonly used ones), cell types (small cylindrical, pouch, prismatic, large cylindrical), including power

Musk claimed on Twitter that no monkeys died as a result of Neuralink implant, but the Securities and Exchange Commission says he knew this statement to be false.”

The interviews I have seen have him saying it’s not good enough to not pay attention. Which ones are you talking about where he says you don’t have to pay attention while using it? Can you provide a link?

Or if they simply have sold an EV version (and do the same for a Prius). I refuse to believe if they put their heart to it, they can’t create an actual competitive EV that would beat the Model 3 in sales (instead of the BZ4x which seems to be selling horribly). It seems on purpose that they aren’t doing so.

Your comment makes a lot of sense. People have looked it up and this happens on painted cars too.

You have to certify to meet minimal federal crash standards (which is what Tesla’s internal tests are for). But this has nothing to do with the NHTSA star test. That test is only done on the most popular models and is optional, because they don’t have the testing capacity to test all car models.

Yeah, the difference is Tesla still makes a margin even with huge price cuts, so they can afford to do so (even though investors react very negatively).

Yeah, for a premium brand, Tesla isn’t nickel and dimeing you (unlike Mercedes or BMW) on the subscription. The prices GM charges in comparison is completely ridiculous.
