This is the way it is with a lot of things though.

“You wouldn’t believe how much BETTER at Open Heart Surgery a Heart Surgeon is versus a normal person who puts on the occasional bandage...”

There’s doing a thing, and then there’s making a thing your JOB.

Are you interested in all the other articles that Kotaku publishes? I’m just curious why the Compete articles bother you more than ones about games you don’t play or care about. It doesn’t seem very hard to just scroll past like I scroll past Destiny and Final Fantasy.

I’m also interested in muting Compete and I do not feel bad for being a troll. I get that there are people who are apparently into pro video game competitions (just say no to the term esports...), but the sheer number of cross-posts is starting to make me feel like I’m in a Black Mirror episode.

Is there any way to mute Compete? I feel bad for being a troll but these cross-posts are really getting obnoxious.

“The mark of a good Zelda cosplayer is good Zelda cosplay.”

We have the same one here and it’s brilliant. Was surprised to see it mentioned here in the comments yet not surprised as to why.

I do and good catch!

I thought the same thing; especially since he sounds a little crabby.

Reminds me of “Ring of Red” with updated graphics and a time shift. Loved that game, so I might check this one out.

Looks like it could be good.

I didn’t realize how bad the writing was precisely because I listened to the audiobook, which I enjoyed.

This is simply boomerang critiquing. The book was a NYT Best Seller and got rave reviews from Deadspin sister site io9 not to mention plenty of other outlets. It was in no way great, but the level of hatred its getting is baffling to me. It seems to be a response to the popularity the book had initially and the

I too enjoyed the audio book

I came here to say this very thing. I read the book ... then got the audio book read by Wil Wheaton. I love his interpretation ... for instance, the text quoted above “Japan? Did I study JAPAN?” It’s silly, don’t get me wrong. But it’s a fun time waster.

Yeah, the audio book was fun. The Arts are filled with really crappy works that just happen to resonate with a large number of people. My daughter turned me on to RPO although she is too young to know all the references. For me it was a trip through my past. When the protagonist picked up the virtual guitar to play

I had a different experience with the audio book. Wil Wheaton might be funny and clever, but the only way that I can describe his voice is punchable. It just grates on me. I would rather listen to a book read by literally anybody else.

I did the audiobook and i enjoyed it.

Speaking of that... did anyone else find it strange they blew up the loot train like that? First off, why not send the dragon down the line of soldiers in the first pass rather than opening a single hole in the line? With what we saw with the loot train we know the dragon is both capable of that kind of precision

I’m waiting for the 1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Xbox, myself.

No women drivers.
