I think it's best in class rather than run of the mill.

Ovewatch might be the first time I bought a game just because the character design. I’m pretty shit at it. Though I finally got a Play of the Game this morning and felt pretty good.

It’s class-based, the gameplay is fun, and it has no unlocks outside of cosmetics. Not really that many FPS games that do that, seems like most FPS games you have to grind to have access to all of the different guns, skills, other combat options, etc.

Peter seems like a fun person to hang with...

“Why do you keep shooting me, there’s like 4 other people!”

Alternate title: “I Clicked An Article I About A Game I Don’t Care For On This Free Website And Now I’m Upset!”

Yeah how strange of them to cover the most anticipated/popular game to be released in months! I don’t even care about Overwatch but at least I understand how gaming/nerd culture sites work. FFS.

Hmm, might as well show my D.Va while I’m here:

It’s not hard to ignore stuff you have little interest in. I’m lazy as fuck and still manage to ignore stuff.

Yes, it would make sense for them to have more stories about all the other ridiculously popular and rabidly anticipated games that were released this week.

Better than having five Destiny articles per day.

STOP LIKING THINGS I DON’T LIKE!

Welp, “Bae” is Danish for shit, so....

You forgot one:

Mei is shit?

Honestly, it’s because this has been one of (if not arguably the single best) marketing campaign video games has seen. It was perfectly announced (and playable the day of announcement), and then followed up with very strategically timed betas and animated shorts. People got emotionally connected to the characters

The characters are very well designed, with lots of vibrant personality. The “pixar-like” cinematics are also helping the audience to create emotional attachments to them.
