HoTS is a far far better community but there are occasionally jerks still. Take this from someone who’s been playing DoTA since it started and played LoL for years as well, the community in HoTS is downright saintlike compared to those 2 games.

I’d never played a Moba before and I’ve never been yelled at in any game of HOTS that I’ve played.

I’ve been playing for a month and a half or so. It’s fun and pretty quick. I haven’t dipped my toe too much into the player versus player team action yet, but players vs AI is a solid way to get some skills under your belt. I don’t feel as if it’s a terrible grind.

Tracer had me on the edge of trying HotS, but I think Chromie pushed me over. Hopefully it’s better than LoL was... where I got out of the Tutorial and was screamed at in my first fight outside of it for being a noob. In the noob game area.

Yeah, she can definitely do some crazy damage, and she’s got strong area control with her area slow Ult, but she’s got no escape, and dies if someone so much as sneezes in her general direction. Very fun to play against. I feel like she’s one of the better balanced heroes on release for a while.

Can we do /train in HotS? Because the /train sound that female gnomes make in WoW is the greatest sound in the game.

I’m glad they’ve reached the point of trying to make unique heroes instead of just making heroes because they’re popular.
