You cut cut tails off of dragons ala Monster Hunter. Another niche franchise that isn’t ported to other countries well. I loved Monster Hunter. Wish they would’ve stuck with Sony instead of porting to Nintendo. The sales numbers just were there and advertising was a no show. Oh well.
Nah. They pretty much just added more enemies. When I first went through Brume Tower, I thought I was severely under leveled. Low and behold, I wasn’t.
Of course Demon Souls was set mostly in a city. You were tasked with making it to the very top of a castle to fight the big baddy. Of course a lot of the areas looked the same.
Demon Souls is where using magic for pvp really shined. Bubble shield was an asset. If a mage got the drop on you after a lunging attack, you were surely done for.
It’s also a lot of speculation. It’s not explaining the lore, it’s mostly just asking “What if this is what it means” and saying “This has to be what it means” although their explanation makes almost no sense if you have half a brain.
The only thing that really got on my nerves about dks2 was the cheapness. I feel they couldn’t quit figure out the difference in cheapness and difficulty.
