Martha’s blog is pure, escapist reading (which I NEED in the time of the Dotard). I have no desire to live her lifestyle but reading about it fascinates me.

I’m right there with you. Four Weddings and a Funeral is a favorite escapist romcom and that scene is lovely and touching, but I despise Notting Hill with intensity. Hate. It.

Her excuse is pathetic, especially the “taken out of context” part — she meant exactly what she said and she reiterated it. Watch the video, she is quite clear in her statement that women were “asking for it”. And she’s weirdly smiling throughout that too.
