Inherent, innate, intrinsic, ingrained. Someone needs to develop a pill to innoculate white people from their latent racist tendencies.

Mostly it’s white people who see “varying degrees of racism” if indeed they even acknowledge that it exists. As far as many of them are concerned, if they are not wearing a KKK hood or lynching a black person, they are not racist.

Too many of us white people believe all the racist bullshit we’ve been told about black people without doing our own research. Most white people have no reason to get out of their bubble and realize how deeply white supremacy really goes. Getting offended is much easier.

Not only that, but all of those white people behind the lynch mobs, lunch counters and Jim Crow didn’t just die and go away. They also didn’t suddenly have a change of heart. They are still here thinking and acting the same way. They raised their children to be just like them.

These white people (and some black people) need to stop this “They’re just kids” nonsense. They’re old enough to know the difference. Expulsion would be great WITH THE REASON WHY on their permanent record. These “kids” need to realize how being racism can ruin you life. Let’s get the ball rolling.

It’s a very black movie but it’s not the blackest for a simple reason. It lacks the distinct voice and perspective of Black women and misogynoir and how that manifests form white men and women.
