Is that the same reason we lost Justice League recaps? And Friends?

Again, Meredith Borders has been doing an excellent recap of them.
Was listening to the Shaft soundtrack the other day. It's been parodied to hell, so that nowadays that style is often used as a joke, but the original still holds up to the emotion of the film. It's a legit, serious piece of work. Terrific, terrific album.
I nominate the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. So many questions.
No I have never read the comic, but I guess someone mentioned it in reference to this show a ways back, and I got it in my mind that that's what it was going to be about. Seems much more interesting.
First time I've caught up with the show since I bailed 35 minutes into the premiere. Some thoughts:
Talking about Hendrix's influence is hard, because it is both true - in the sense that everybody lists him as an influence - and not true, because nobody has yet to ever play like him.
Season four is the best season of Gilmore Girls.
After Hours (I know he doesn't sing on it, but he wrote it)
Sweet Jane
Femme Fatale (another where he's not the lead vocal)

My favorite story of hers is "Wenlock Edge" which is readily available on the New Yorker site. Its centerpiece is a scene so bizzare I would only describe it as Eyes-Wide-Shut-esque. And I hope that is enough to stimulate some of y'all to check it out.
Magic in the moonlight/ Everybody feeling warm and bright
It's such a fine and natural sight/ Everybody magic in the moonlight.
I have a bunch of older siblings who cursed me with merciless teasing, but blessed me with abundant, diverse record collections that I could pick at. I remember listening to Pink Floyd’s The Wall and the Heavy Metal soundtrack (different siblings), and staring very intently at the back cover of Scorpions’ Lovedrive.…
As a film, I've always loved Branagh's Hamlet - it's rich, playful and reverent in all the right ways.
At this point, can somebody just legalize polygamy in New York so I don't have to hear about this damn Robin thing anymore.
What role does the final tavern encounter between Hal and Falstaff play in Hal's rejection of him at the coronation?
No no no. I love Dear Emily and Richard. I like that ASP chose the most low-key, understated scenes to depict in the flashback. I like that a past pregnancy is woven into a current one. The scene with her going through labor alone with nothing but a casette walkman gets to me. And the scene where Lorelai looks…
